Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Baymont by Wyndham.

About the Role
  • As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our guest rooms and public areas.
Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms for occupancy, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors, as well as dust furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, drapes, and upholstered furniture.
  • Ensure that all bathroom and kitchen facilities are clean and disinfected.
  • Handle lost and found items, report them promptly, and return them to their rightful owners.
  • Respond to guests' requests for extra supplies or services, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and efficiency, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not necessary, as we provide thorough training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring physical stamina and flexibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with guests and colleagues.
