Job Summary:

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly qualified Academic Lecturer in Biomedical Toxicology to join the School of Environment and Sustainability. As a key member of the Toxicology Centre, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and collegial service duties, program administration, and contributing to the development of the Toxicology Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Biomedical Toxicology, Biology, and related disciplines
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of the Toxicology Program
  • Contribute to program administration, including committee work and departmental service
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities, including publication and presentation of research findings
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement new programs and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • PhD in a discipline relevant to Biomedical Toxicology
  • Postdoctoral experience is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, with evidence of collaborative interactions and community engagement
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the diversity of the Centre's and School's faculty complement
