Job Description

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Technology Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Global Functions Technology team, you will be responsible for onboarding models onto our forecasting platform, analyzing data, and providing production support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement model requirements using various scripting techniques to onboard models onto our forecasting platform.
  • Ensure delivery of model outputs in line with stakeholder expectations.
  • Analyze Balance Sheet and P&L actuals and forecast results, identify issues, and implement fixes.
  • Answer queries from stakeholders on forecast results and reports.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Statistical Modelling teams to collect business requirements.
  • Work towards building meaningful analytical views on the platform to enable Finance and Risk teams to take proper measures and decisions.
  • Participate in creating effective and efficient processes and governance.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of working experience as a Technology Analyst.
  • 6+ years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle.
  • 5+ years of gathering requirements and specifications.
  • 5+ years experience with Python, SQL, MS Excel.
  • 3+ years financial industry experience.
  • Strong written and oral communications with demonstrated experience in delivering the appropriate level of detailed status and communication to stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of fundamental Balance Sheet and P&L.
  • Sound knowledge of econometric modelling techniques.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Preferred experience with key Interest Rate Risk metrics (IRE, EVS).
Education:
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • MBA (Finance), or Masters in Finance preferred.
