Data Administrator

Flash Systems is seeking a highly skilled Data Administrator to join our team. As a Data Administrator, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure
- Develop and maintain computer databases to ensure accurate and efficient data management
- Document customer requirements and reporting needs to ensure seamless data integration
- Enact measures to ensure unauthorized users cannot access sensitive data
- Liaise with staff to ensure data requirements are met and data is available when needed
- Provide advice to informatics professionals on database management tools and best practices
- Setup and test IT infrastructure to ensure applications can access databases efficiently
- Design and develop databases to meet business needs
- Operate database management systems to analyze data and identify trends
- Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models to ensure data integrity
- Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policies
- Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and data backup and recovery
- Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators to develop and implement data policies, standards, and models
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
- 1-2 years of experience in data administration or a related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Permanent position
- 30-40 hours per week
- English language required
