At Sunrise Senior Living, we empower our residents to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. As an Assisted Living Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and leading the Assisted Living Neighborhood team.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, develop, and lead the overall operation of the assisted living neighborhood in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as Sunrise Senior Living standards and regulations.
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-quality team.
- Provide recognition and create an engaged culture for your team members, residents, and families.
- Evaluate and ensure that the community follows all relevant laws and regulations, as well as Sunrise standards regarding resident care and services.
- Partner with the leadership team to guarantee compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Mission-driven and passionate about seniors, you will understand and respond to changes in resident condition.
- Assist the executive director in completing the annual community budget.
- Manage departmental expenses and their impact on the community's bottom line.
- Attend regular meetings: Stand Up, Cross Over, Department Head Meetings, Town Hall, Quality Improvement, and others as directed by the Executive Director.
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of supervisory or management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, employee relations, and supervision of daily operations in assisted living or long-term care.
- A BA/BS degree may be required based on state requirements.
- Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new applications.
- Effective organization, time management, written, and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
- Scheduling experience is beneficial.
- A dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential.
