Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at YES Kids Christian Childcare. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to grow and develop.

Job Summary:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media, including art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Plan and maintain a healthy and safe environment that protects the well-being of children.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement daily activities and programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and report on children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need for support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective childcare program.
Requirements:
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Vulnerable sector check.
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, and bending.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
