Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Go Time Energy Services Ltd. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work.
  • Repair and Replacement: Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, and adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate maintenance reports and documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willingness to travel and valid driver's license are required, with travel expenses paid by the employer.
  • Work Environment: The work environment is physically demanding, requiring attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle heavy loads. Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles are required.
  • Certifications and Licenses: A valid driver's license (Class 1 or A), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and First Aid Certificate are required. Driver's License (Class 3 or D) is also an asset.

  • Education: An Other trades certificate or diploma is required, with equivalent experience considered.
  • Work Language: English
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Hours: 40 to 55 hours per week
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • or equivalent experience
