Banquet Supervisor Job Description
At NUVO, we are seeking a skilled Banquet Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet services, including supervising staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports on food order summaries, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Working Conditions:
- Permanent position.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language required.
