About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team at KPMG. As a Tax Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of tax planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review tax returns and working papers for personal and corporate clients.
  • Ensure timely completion of tax returns and schedules, and maintain accurate client files.
  • Communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on various tax matters.
  • Perform tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Collaborate with Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners to develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Successful completion of the Chartered Financial Examiner (CFE) program and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Enrollment in the In-Depth Tax Course or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
