About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining a fleet of trucks, as well as coordinating logistics and managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Load and unload goods, oversee vehicle condition, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Obtain special permits, manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication and Documentation: Relay information to central dispatch, record trip reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Attention to detail, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and teamwork.
Work Environment:

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent overtime required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Compensation:
