Masonry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team at JVH Masonry Ltd.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures. This will involve preparing and laying materials, estimating materials and tools required, and working at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in the trade and be physically fit to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment. They will also be required to supervise other workers and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work efficiently in a busy construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units
- Estimating materials and tools required
- Working at heights on scaffolding or swing stages
- Supervising other workers
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- 3 years of experience in the trade
- Physically fit to handle heavy loads
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy construction environment
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. They will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and gloves to ensure their safety.
Language:The language of work is English.
Hours of Work:The successful candidate will be required to work 35-44 hours per week.
