Job Summary
T-Net British Columbia is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment in substations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the design and implementation of new substation equipment, as well as the upgrade and maintenance of existing systems. You will also have the chance to work with a range of electrical equipment, including switchgear, circuit breakers, and transformers.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as experience working with medium voltage (2.4kV to 550kV) substation reactive or switchgear equipment. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in applied science or engineering, and at least 8 years of related experience. You will also need to be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in BC or have the ability to transfer your license.
