Job Description

This School Bus Mechanic role requires diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues, including brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, and other repairs. The successful candidate will lead preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections, maintaining accurate records and adhering to First Student's standards and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A valid Mechanic license is required for this position.
  • Advanced problem-solving ability and computer skills are essential for success.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanics and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
