Job Summary

DRAS Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for constructing and installing steel studs and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
  • Permanent work term.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
