Job Title: General Farm Worker

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit General Farm Worker to join our team at Roy Pope & Sons Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop harvesting, including cleaning, grading, and packing produce. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and have excellent physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare crops for harvesting
  • Grade and pack produce according to quality and size
  • Perform hand harvesting of vegetables and fruits
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Weeding and maintaining crop health
  • Clean and maintain work area
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing work conditions
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be working in a rural setting with exposure to dust, heat, and physical demands. The work environment will be fast-paced, and the candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
