Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a talented team of healthcare professionals. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including routine and specialized tests. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, troubleshoot equipment issues, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including routine and specialized tests.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS).
- Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical laboratory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary: $68,000 - $90,000 per year.
