Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Early Childhood Educators to provide high-quality care and education to school-age children.
  • Develop and implement play-based experiences that promote children's learning and development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children and staff, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Collaborate with families and community partners to provide a comprehensive and inclusive program.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including billing, accounts receivable, and enrollment management.
  • Act as a liaison between the program and other departments, including HR, Finance, and Operations.
  • Provide nutritious snacks and meals that meet the latest nutritional guidelines.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working with children and youth.
  • Familiarity with the Child Care Early Years Act and licensing standards.
  • Valid certifications, including Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check, Standard First Aid, and CPR Level C.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators or a post-secondary degree in a related field.
