Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for streamlining international operations. The successful candidate will drive efficiency and ensure seamless global trade processes as a Logistics Export Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the shipping and inventory teams to resolve issues and ensure efficient operations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with maritime shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth trade processes.
  • Manage booking and documentation processes, including Incoterms, packaging, and weight restrictions.
  • Coordinate all aspects of shipment processing, including e-manifesting, Bills of Lading, and freight invoices.
  • Prepare and approve export-related shipping documents and perform data input.
  • Obtain loading pictures and provide them to customers upon request.
  • Create B13/AES export declarations for Canadian and US exports.
  • Save digital copies of relevant correspondence and documents.
  • Handle a high volume of correspondence with divisions, overseas offices, customers, and transport service providers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or handling FCL/LCL ocean exports.
  • Knowledge of export regulations, CAED/AES, and Incoterms is essential.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization, planning, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with others as a team player.
  • Proficiency in French and English, with good verbal and writing skills.
  • Post-secondary education in business, transportation, or logistics management is considered an asset.
