Parental Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Parental Support Specialist to join our team at Peretz Mockin. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients' children.
Key Responsibilities- Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the family.
- Childcare: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, as well as supervise and care for them.
- Education Support: Assist children with homework and provide guidance on personal hygiene and social development.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
- Transportation: Take children to and from school and to appointments.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and comfort to children, helping them with emotional well-being.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Language: English or French.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
