The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team of professionals in our Charlottetown, PEI, Blacks Harbour, NB, or Saint John, NB office. This position will support the accounting team in cost accounting functions, including inventory costing tracking, management reporting, preparation of working paper files, and additional accounting and special project work as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost accounting functions, including inventory costing tracking and management reporting.
  • Prepare working paper files and assist with additional accounting and special project work as required.
  • Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve the company's financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
