Job Summary

Tideview Terrace, a leading long-term care facility, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the functionality and quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide consultation, intervention, and follow-up services to residents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve, restore, and maintain residents' functional abilities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia.
  • Proven clinical experience in providing occupational therapy services to seniors.
  • Current certifications in CPR.
  • Knowledge and experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
