Job Title: Automecanic truck specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automecanic truck specialist to join our team at Groupe J.F. Nadeau Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial transport systems, ensuring the vehicles are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
- Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
- Discuss work with supervisor
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
- Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
- Valid driver's licence
- Own vehicle
- Steel-toed safety boots
- Attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
- Flexibility
- Reliability
- Team player
- Punctuality
Working Conditions:
The work site environment is dusty, dirty, and noisy. The work setting is a garage, and the work hours are 40 to 50 hours per week.
