Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team at Watt& Stewart Commodities Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver - Long Haul, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
