Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot our technology platform for the financial services firms we serve.

  1. Design and implement cloud-based network and security architecture to ensure the reliability and security of our platform.
  2. Work with development team leaders to create and maintain internal security policies and code standards.
  3. Detect, analyze, and solve production issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Deploy software in a repeatable and documented way to ensure consistency and ease of maintenance.
  5. Capture and maintain documentation of specifications, processes, systems, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer.
  6. Practice continuous improvement by identifying and removing single points of failure or unnecessary redundancies.
  7. Support systems and review audit logs to identify existing problems and areas for improvement.
  8. Provide on-call support 24x7 on an as-needed basis to ensure minimal disruption to our services.
  9. Implement system and application monitoring for custom requirements and application uptime to maximize platform reliability.
  10. Assist with small-office IT support on occasion to ensure seamless support across all our operations.

Requirements

Requires at least a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, Computer Engineer, Lead Engineer, or related position. Position also requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience with each of the following:

  1. Experience with Build, Deploy, and Release; in process audits and remediation;
  2. Experience with documenting systems configurations.
