Job Summary

Lorraine Landscape Services is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly tied down.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the truck's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent mechanical issues and ensure the truck is running efficiently.
  • Tarping and Cargo Security: Ensure the cargo is properly tarped and secured to prevent damage during transport.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a Heavy Truck Driver.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift heavy objects.
