We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Haulage Specialist to join our team at Diesel Freightline Inc.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, transporting goods and materials across international routes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining accurate records
- Obtain special permits and documents required for international transportation
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections on company vehicles
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; relevant experience and training will be considered
- Ability to operate straight or articulated trucks safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with emergency roadside repairs and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
