Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Haulage Specialist to join our team at Diesel Freightline Inc.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, transporting goods and materials across international routes
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining accurate records
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international transportation
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections on company vehicles
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; relevant experience and training will be considered
  • Ability to operate straight or articulated trucks safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with emergency roadside repairs and maintenance procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
