We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Incident Response Manager to join our Global Information Security Group at KPMG-Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing security incident management framework and coverage between our Global Security Operations Center and our Major Incident Management Process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a bridge between our Global Information Security Group operational teams and our Major Incident Management Process.
- Coordinate security incident management activities across regions.
- Provide member firms with incident response advice and support through our regional model.
- Provide guidance to our Global Security Operations Center operational teams on advice given to member firms when escalating incidents.
- Provide regionally aligned situational awareness to member firms and our Global Security Operations Center operational teams.
- Define, set up, and maintain repeatable Teams War Room structures.
- Define, set up, and maintain communication structures and templates for high-level incident types. Assist in coordination with our Chief Information Security Officer to link into board-level and regulatory communications requirements.
- Provide service management with the security context of any security incident promoted to major incidents.
- Assist in the delivery of cyber war games and purple teaming activities.
- Initiate US Advisory IR assistance requests.
- Coordinate US Advisory IR activities when necessary.
- Experience of security incident response in a large, distributed organization.
- Experience working in, or alongside, Security Operations Centers in a large, distributed organization.
- Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams in relation to security incident management activities.
- Demonstrate experience dealing with complex security-related incidents.
- Experience working in a hybrid legacy and cloud environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Security) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ITIL-based Incident Management activities.
- ITIL certification or equivalent experience.
- GCIH certification or equivalent certification or experience.
- Strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills, proven ability to discuss with both business and technology management.
