At J.R. Simplot Company, we are committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As a Product Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our finished products meets the acceptable quality levels required by our customers and the division.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to identify and remove foreign material, ensuring compliance with customer expectations and company standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, sweeping and disposing of non-hazardous product as necessary, to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.

• Properly sanitize personal protective equipment (PPE) used for inspecting products and adhere to Personal Health, Hygiene, and Sanitation Policies and Procedures outlined in the JR Simplot Plant Policies and Procedures.

• Participate in training activities and apply acquired skills and knowledge to improve job performance and contribute to the team's success.

• Follow safe work practices, procedures, and policies to prevent injuries to yourself and others, and ensure compliance with Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Union Labor Agreement.

• Interact with team members and other support groups in a participative management style conducive to operational goals, and maintain a professional demeanor by ensuring confidentiality regarding sensitive issues and adhering to appearance standards necessary to perform the job function while representing the company.

Requirements:


• 6+ months of related experience and/or training

• Ability to understand foreign material procedures and identify foreign material

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
