Job Title: Barber

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Dawson Creek Barbershop. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting and styling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers' hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
