Commercial Vehicle Auto Body Repair Specialist

Fleet Works is a leading repair and paint facility specializing in fleet vehicles, commercial vehicles, and specialized equipment. We offer a range of services including collision repair, autobody, refinishing, mechanical services, frame, suspension, alignment, and other repair and installation services to our business customers in the Southern Alberta area.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Auto Body Repairer to join our team at our Calgary facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, with a minimum of 5 years' experience and a certificate in auto body repair or a related field.
Key Responsibilities- Complete repair assignments following company guidelines and supplier procedures to meet customer specifications.
- Disassemble, inspect, and identify repairs needed, repairing units in preparation for paint, reassembly, final inspection, adjustments, etc.
- Be organized and responsible for the proper completion of repairs as needed.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines, which may require overtime.
- Maintain a positive attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow employees in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience working with commercial vehicles is an asset.
- An auto body journeyman certificate would be beneficial, but we will also consider a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Experience working with fiberglass and aluminum would be ideal.
The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various elements, including fumes, dirt, dust, chemicals, hazards, heat, and cold. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment is essential.
