Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our housekeeping team at the Best Western Williams Lake Hotel.

Job Summary:

The Light Duty Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect elevators, and wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Housekeeping: Clean changing rooms and showers, address customers' complaints or concerns, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Work Environment: Work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
