About the Role

The Senior Sous Chef plays a vital role in crafting an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with our team to deliver a memorable encounter that complements our award-winning wines.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Monitor culinary staffing levels and inventory to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local farms and purveyors to source high-quality ingredients.
  • Foster effective communication among direct and indirect reports to achieve shared goals.
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus and events that showcase our wine pairings.
  • Utilize knowledge of food and wine pairings to elevate the guest experience.
  • Implement efficient systems to optimize day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in hiring and training seasonal staff to maintain our high standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, with Red Seal Certification as an asset.
  • Previous experience in private events and catering is beneficial.
  • Hold Food Safe Level 2 Certification.
  • possess expertise in wine and food pairing.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communications skills.
  • Possess ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $24-$27, plus a percentage of the team gratuity program. Additional benefits include staff discounts on wine, comprehensive training, food and wine pairing events, and excellent sales incentives.
