Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to install tile surfaces in various settings, including walls, floors, and countertops. As a Tile Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying adhesives, setting tiles, and completing finishing work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by measuring, marking, and cleaning them.
  • Mix and apply adhesives to ensure proper bonding between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment as needed.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
