Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Parwinder Tung. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to families in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and social development.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring they are comfortable and secure.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, helping them to integrate into Canadian society.
Support for Youths:
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, promoting their career advancement and personal growth.
Support for Visible Minorities:
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process.

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
