Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Biologist to join our team at Associated Engineering. As a Junior Biologist, you will play a key role in supporting our environmental consulting services and contributing to the development of innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fieldwork and data collection in remote locations to support environmental assessments and monitoring programs.
  • Assist in the development of environmental reports and technical documents, including summaries of findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior biologists and other team members to design and implement environmental projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on environmental matters, including provincial and federal legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in environmental science and consulting.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant pure or applied science.
  • Preference will be given to individuals eligible to obtain their professional designation (P.Ag., P.Biol.) within three to five years.
  • Strong time management and organizational ability.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow direction and take initiative.
  • Ability to think strategically and convert plans into action.
