Job Description

As an Intermediate Land Development Engineer, you will be part of our Community Development team in Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton, or Charlottetown offices. Your responsibilities will include project design work, proposal assistance, client liaison, and project management.

You will work on multiple projects and be responsible for projects of average complexity/size. You will serve as Engineer-of-Record and perform more complex engineering design tasks on assigned projects under supervision of the Project Technical Lead or Project Manager.

You will develop designs through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats. Prepare and revise documentation in various civil phases including site plans, utility plan/profiles, grading plans, cross sections, diagrams, and details.

You will coordinate project meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors. Participate in client project requirement meetings and value analysis and cost estimating.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university program.
  • Be registered as a Professional Engineer.
  • Have at least 5 years' experience in land development projects is strongly preferred.
