At Select People Solutions, we're looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Service Specialist to join our team. With a strong focus on troubleshooting, inspection, and repair, this role is ideal for individuals with a passion for heavy-duty equipment and a knack for problem-solving.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health care and a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). As a Heavy Duty Equipment Service Specialist, you'll work on-site, troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect heavy-duty equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation up-to-date
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including welding and cleaning
Requirements
  • Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • 2 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair and maintenance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
