About the Job

Gumban Roofing and Renovation is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced construction workers with various tasks related to residential renovation and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Reading Blueprints: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure that tasks are completed accurately.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Performing Trade Work: Perform various trade work during home construction or renovation activities, including roofing, siding, and insulation.
  • Operating Equipment: Operate reciprocating saws, circular saws, air compressors, air guns, nail guns, drills, and hand tools as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in various locations, including residential renovation sites.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, including handling heavy loads, working at heights, and working in a fast-paced environment.
