About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete major repairs and maintenance projects
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • ASE certification or equivalent required; specialized training in diesel engine repair and maintenance an asset
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
