We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Singh Roofing. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth construction process
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
