Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Services Coordinator to join our team at Newly Weds Foods Co. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including trial balance of books and tax returns.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate and up-to-date financial records, establishing and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Work Experience: 1-7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position requiring the ability to work independently with attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime, and tight deadlines.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 CAD, depending on location and experience.
