At Dev Communications, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with experience in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, as well as preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare cheques for payroll and reconcile accounts
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting
  • Strong background in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
