Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Nunavut. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising, planning, and organizing the housekeeping teams to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Hold daily health and safety meetings
  • Ensure that company standards are met by training employees in line with our quality program
  • Welcome, integrate, and train employees with the appropriate leaders
  • Plan and organize shifts according to demand and shift changes
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality control and quality assurance requirements through daily inspections and visits
  • Ensure that inspection results are presented to teams for training and continuous improvement
  • Participate in daily maintenance tasks as required
  • Disciplinary follow-up collaboration with the camp manager
  • Oversee daily operations and supervise the camp team
  • All other tasks as required

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in team management
  • Experience in conflict and human resources management
  • English
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Experience in regional or remote labor camps is an asset
  • Be able and willing to travel and work in remote areas on a regular rotation basis
