About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Gas Bar Cashier at Yukon Tire Centre Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stock and Maintain Store: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and ensure a well-organized store environment.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify Age and Process Sales: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products, and process sales accordingly.
  • Manage Inventory and Reconciliation: Maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
