Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at AE INDUSTRIES INC. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Work Environment:
As a Carpenter, you will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, handling heavy loads, and working under tight deadlines. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
