Tobacco Farm Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tobacco Farm Worker to join our team at Neville Farms Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply horticultural techniques to maintain crop health and quality
  • Clean and prepare crops for harvesting
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth
  • Remove weeds and other unwanted vegetation to prevent competition for resources
  • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum yield and quality
  • Cut and process horticultural crops for market
Work Environment:

The Tobacco Farm Worker will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The role requires the ability to work under pressure, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and adapt to changing weather conditions
