AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer with nuclear experience to join our team in Canada. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all related engineering activities are performed in accordance with approved policies, standards, programs, and procedures consistent with the expectations of the Chief Nuclear Engineer and the requirements of the ACNS Nuclear Quality System Manual.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the Engineering Manager/Senior Engineering Manager by providing engineering products, including designs, analyses, and other technical products. They will also provide mentoring and technical direction to engineering staff as identified by the Engineering Manager/Senior Engineering Manager.

The Electrical Engineer will investigate and resolve technical issues during all phases of a project. They will prepare, review, verify, or certify engineering products as required, including technical specifications, design drawings, and bills of material.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in engineering and be a registered and practicing Professional Engineer with + 6 years of experience. They will have demonstrated a good technical understanding of nuclear power plant operation, a good understanding of the Canadian regulatory environment, and in-depth knowledge of the practical application of engineering principles in their discipline.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting the Engineering Manager/Senior Engineering Manager in providing engineering products.
  2. Providing mentoring and technical direction to engineering staff.
  3. Investigating and resolving technical issues during all phases of a project.
  4. Preparing, reviewing, verifying, or certifying engineering products as required.
