Hopewell Residential is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Draftsperson to enhance our team's capabilities in crafting exceptional living spaces. As a key member of our design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed plot plans, ensuring seamless integration with the surrounding landscape and adhering to community guidelines.
  • Prepare and finalize drafting files for customer projects, spec homes, show homes, and sales centers, meeting contract requirements and adhering to building codes and municipal bylaws.
  • Coordinate with trade supply partners to obtain necessary documents for building permits and construction.
  • Verify files for accuracy and completeness throughout the pre-construction process.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of residential drafting and design experience in the new home construction sector, specifically wood frame building construction.
  • Architectural Technologist Designation from a recognized institution.
  • Mastery of AutoCAD and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A collaborative spirit, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach.
  • Vigorous attention to detail and superior organizational abilities.
  • Ability to lead tasks, document, and provide leadership to team members when required.
  • A strong technical background is an asset.

Our Work Environment:

Enjoy a balanced schedule with traditional core hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to accommodate occasional weekend or evening projects.
