We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Casual Caretaker at one of our 27 schools located in 18 communities across the region.

Our school division serves a diverse student population of over 5,000 students, with a wide range of programs and services available to support student success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, as well as performing various maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a clean and safe learning environment
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs
  • Assisting with special events and projects
  • Collaborating with school staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or custodial role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the job
