Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead the Youthrive and York Region Pop-Up Programs at 360°kids. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the day-to-day operations of the programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement various activities that promote physical activity, healthy eating and nutrition, positive personal development, and wellness for elementary and primary school-aged children and families.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction to staff in terms of operations and programs, in accordance with the approved Strategic Plan of 360°kids.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that the programs are in line with the stated mission and vision of the organization and comply with applicable standards and laws.
  • Communication and Representation: Communicate the mission and values of 360°kids to employees and other stakeholders, and represent the organization in the social service network, regulators, and the general public.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the sound financial management and appropriate controls of the program's budget.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Post-secondary degree/diploma in a Child/Youth related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of three years' experience working with children or youth, plus at least one year supervisory or management experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Leadership skills, including motivation, delegation, coaching/mentoring, and empowerment; excellent communication skills and adaptability to unique client qualities; exceptional interpersonal skills for positive team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution; broad knowledge of community resources and advocacy skills; relationship building and management skills to support relationships with peers, staff, partners, and stakeholders.
